Is Emome a gift shop for the Syrian diaspora?
+
Yes. Emome is built specifically for Syrians living abroad who want to send gifts to family and friends inside Syria. We do not sell Syrian products to the diaspora — we make it easy to send real, physical gifts from anywhere in the world to recipients inside Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Aleppo, Latakia, Tartus, and Homs.
Which countries can I order from?
+
You can order from anywhere in the world. Emome accepts international Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay from any country. We have dedicated checkout flows with localized payment options and currency for 13 countries — the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Türkiye, and Jordan — but senders in every other country can order through our main checkout without any geographic restriction.
Do I need a Syrian bank account or phone number?
+
No. You only need an international Visa or Mastercard, or Apple Pay. Emome handles the local delivery side entirely. The recipient does not need to pay anything or share any banking details.
Can I browse gifts in my local currency?
+
Yes. Emome displays prices in USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, QAR, BHD, KWD, JOD, AUD, CAD, TRY, and other currencies. Your local currency is detected automatically based on your location, and you can switch it manually from the currency selector at any time. Payment is still processed via Visa, Mastercard, or Apple Pay.
Is Emome a real registered company or just a website?
+
Emome is operated by EMOME LTD, a registered Syrian company founded in 2021 and headquartered in Tala Tower, Mazzah, Damascus. We work with a curated network of legally-contracted local Syrian partner suppliers — not an open marketplace. Emome owns the customer-facing experience end-to-end: supplier curation, multi-supplier order assembly, in-house wrapping at the Damascus office, and doorstep delivery by car. Our address and phone are public on the About page and verifiable.
Can I send one gift that combines items from different shops?
+
Yes. This is one of Emome's core features. Build a single gift from multiple contracted suppliers — flowers, cake, chocolates, accessories — all in one order. We gather the items from each partner, assemble and wrap them together at our Damascus office, and deliver the combined gift in one car dispatch.
Do you handle gift wrapping?
+
Yes. Wrapping is done in-house at the Emome office in Tala Tower, Mazzah, Damascus. We assemble multi-supplier orders, wrap the final gift as one cohesive package, and dispatch it by car to the recipient.
Why does Emome deliver by car instead of motorcycle?
+
Every Emome gift is delivered in a car by a trained captain — never on a motorcycle. Most gift-delivery services in Syria use motorcycles because they are cheaper, but motorcycles damage flowers, crush cakes, and expose premium gifts to dust, wind, and weather. We made a deliberate choice to deliver by car because protecting your gift in transit is non-negotiable.
Do you operate on Fridays, Eid, and holidays?
+
Yes. Emome is open every day of the year, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Syria time — including Fridays, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and every public holiday. Most gift-delivery services in Syria close on those days, but those are the days families most want to celebrate. While you are abroad, we are working.
Can I get help from real people, in Arabic or English?
+
Yes. Emome has a dedicated in-house customer support team at our Damascus office, available daily from 10 AM to 9 PM Syria time via WhatsApp and phone at +963 98 991 1181. The team speaks Arabic and English and handles questions before, during, and after your order. Not a chatbot, not outsourced — a real Emome team.
Will my family in Syria be charged for the gift?
+
No. The recipient is never asked to pay on delivery. Payment is completed in full by the sender at checkout, including delivery.
Can I include a message in Arabic?
+
Yes. Every gift can carry a written message in Arabic (or any other language), or a personal video card. Both are delivered alongside the gift.
How fast does delivery take?
+
Same-day delivery is available in all 6 covered Syrian cities for orders placed before 9:00 PM local time. Most same-day deliveries arrive within 2 hours of order placement.
I have not been to Syria in years. Can I still send gifts to family there?
+
Yes. As long as you have the recipient's name, phone number, and address in one of the covered cities, you can send a gift. Emome's local delivery partner contacts the recipient to confirm timing.
What kinds of gifts can I send?
+
Flowers, cakes, chocolates, balloons, birthday sets, jewelry and accessories, and gift cards — all sourced from trusted local Syrian vendors. Combined gift sets (flowers with cake, for example) are also available.
How do I know the gift was delivered?
+
You receive real-time order updates and a photo confirmation at the moment the gift is handed to the recipient.
Is Emome safe to use for sending gifts from abroad?
+
Yes. Emome uses encrypted international payment processing, partners exclusively with vetted local Syrian vendors, and sends photo confirmation on every delivery. Refund and dispute policies are documented on the site.
